The Harrisburg Stampede is pleased to announce the signing of two veteran players’ wide receiver Silas Daniels and kicker Andy Eminger. Both players are expected to make an immediate impact on the Stampede inaugural season.
Silas Daniels – Wide Receiver College: Auburn University

Weight: 192
Silas Daniels entered Auburn University in 2000 and enjoyed four successful years with the Tigers football team including their 2004 undefeated season. Daniels played in a total of 42 games (2001 through 2004) for Auburn, and currently holds the longest touchdown reception in Auburn history (an 87 yard pass from Jason Campbell in a 2004 matchup versus Louisiana Tech University). He entered the 2005 NFL Draft but was not selected, and subsequently signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Daniels signed in December 2005 to play professional indoor football with the Montgomery Maulers of the National Indoor Football League.
Silas is entering his fourth year of professional football and comes to the Harrisburg Stampede from the Columbus Lions of the AIFA were he caught 68 passes for 898 yards and 20 touchdowns last season.
Andy Eminger - Kicker College: Ohio State University
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 192
Andy is one of indoor footballs strongest and most consistent kickers having played for the Canton Legends and the Daytona Beach Thunder of the AIFL and the Green Bay Blizzard and Florida Firecats of Arena 2. Andy is a highly sought after kicker and comes to the Stampede with a strong resume having been previously invited to six NFL training camps (Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions and the St. Louis Rams). During his indoor career Andy is 6 for 6 on game winning field goals and consistently finishes each season as one the leagues best kickers.
During his indoor career Andy has twice been elected as an All-Star, been a league MVP and set numerous league records.

2006 Team MVP with Daytona
2006 Set league records for points in a game by a kicker with 27 points, field goals in a game (7), 1 points rogues in a game (7). Kicked 3, 50+ yard field goals in one game (51, 53, and 58), longest field goal 58, most consecutive extra points 31, and then 36. and most field goals in a season 27 (Daytona 2006). Finished second on the league MVP ballot.
